Marcelo Perpetuo is a mechanical engineer who graduated from PUC-RJ in 1986. He is the Country Manager for the LCBA project. Before, he was in the renewable industry as a consultant on the Wind Industry and as Services Director at VESTAS. He has acted in many roles throughout his career, Vice President of WorleyParsons Brazil for the mining and metals industry. At Anglo American, he was the Project Director for Brazil operations, focusing on Niobium expansion projects, and he also acted as Chief Technology Officer. At Vale, Mr. Perpetuo was the General Manager of Mining Innovation, responsible for finding new technologies applied in all mining processes to improve productivity and reduce costs. Mr. Perpetuo was the Maintenance Manager for Vale’s Southeast Ferrous Metals Department and led the Vale Maintenance Steering Committee, establishing relevant policies, strategies, and systems. While at Volkswagen, he was the Logistics and Production Planning Manager and was in charge of the production scheduling, inventory control, product delivery assurance, and launching new programs. Before that, at Delphi-GM, Mr. Perpetuo was the Plant Manager who was responsible for operations, quality control, and financial performance.
