After studying geosciences, process engineering and materials science, Hubert came into contact with the idea of co-processing at Holcim HQ in Switzerland. After producing artificial raw materials for burning clinker, he followed the call to Dyckerhoff Zement/ Wiesbaden as the responsible central AFR manager. Raising its TSR from 15 to 75%, he also worked in VDZ working groups and in environmental ministries, was a co-founder of the Federal Quality Association for Secondary Fuels and later became a member of national and European standardisation panels.
Two years before the German landfill ban, Hubert successfully converted a poor MBT into a tailor-made SRF-production for the local power plants and cement kilns (awarded the RAL quality mark). In 2009, Hubert founded WhiteLabel-TandemProjects with colleagues from different industries to offer experiences "from bin to flame" worldwide and to avoid bad investments.
